MONROEVILLE, Pa. — The victim in a deadly crash that happened Friday afternoon on Route 22 has been identified.
Joseph Papanek, 48, died after his motorcycle was hit by another car exiting the Bob Evans parking lot, according to Allegheny County police.
Witnesses called 911 around 3 p.m. Friday after seeing the crash in the 3700 block of William Penn Highway, which is Route 22.

Police said Papanek was traveling westbound when his motorcycle struck the side of a car that was exiting the restaurant's parking lot onto the roadway.
Once the investigation is finished, the findings will be turned over to the district attorney's office to determine if any charges will be filed.
