Video shows Pittsburgh firefighter’s pickup truck being stolen outside of fire station

PITTSBURGH — Police are asking for help identifying the crooks who stole from a Pittsburgh firefighter. It happened overnight on Orchlee Street outside the fire station in Brighton Heights.

A firefighter had his personal truck parked right next to the station when a group walked up, got in the truck and took off just before 1 a.m.

“I can’t believe that they just went up and did that. Its crazy,” Nick Cutruzzula said. “I think that’s really bold of them to do. I walk this street every day and it seems calm. So it’s surprising someone did that.”

Neighbors told Channel 11 they’re becoming concerned about break-ins and other mischief.

Police were able to recover the pickup, but no arrests have been made.
