DUQUESNE, Pa. — An arrest warrant has been issued for a man believed to be responsible for a deadly shooting outside an Allegheny County bar.
According to county police, Carl Jones, 27, is being charged with homicide and weapons violations.

Donnell Demery, 54, was shot and killed outside the 1313 Bar on Kennedy Avenue in Duquesne early Monday morning.
Police said Demery and Jones were arguing in the bar early Monday morning and that Jones pulled out a handgun and shot Demery repeatedly.
Police officers tried to save Demery with a tourniquet, but he died at the hospital.

Duquesne police Chief Thomas Dunlevy said people came forward to help identify Jones as a suspect.
"I would say this crime was solved in part because of the outrage of the community. You got citizens here who are tired of the violence. We are here to help solve that problem. As you can see in this case we were able to quickly get an arrest warrant," Dunlevy said.
Jones is known to frequent McKeesport and has ties to the Hill District neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
