WASHINGTON COUNTY — Storms hit parts of Washington County hard Wednesday afternoon.
“All I heard was a whistling sound and I look out the window and I saw my tree that I recently planted. It was rolling down the hill,” Rich Vitale said.
While Vitale said he only had minimal damage, his neighbors weren’t so lucky.
Despite the damage, the National Weather Service will not do a damage survey because it does not believe there was a microburst or tornado.
