Washington Park Pool won’t open this summer

WASHINGTON, Pa. — The Washington Park Pool won’t open this summer.

There are a number of problems with the pool, including unsafe lighting, according to our partners at WJPA.

Officials had some money set aside for repairs, but they are not able to make repairs right now.

The pool was shut down last season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Officials hope the repairs can happen soon, so they can open it back up next summer.
