SOUTH PARK, Pa. — A water pipe that broke caused a huge geyser to erupt in the South Hills on Sunday.

According to the Library Volunteer Fire Company, the break occurred near Triphammer and Brownsville Road Extension. The Pennsylvania-American Water Company reported the break happened around 3:15 p.m., sending the huge column of spray into the air.

Repairs were expected to be finished late Sunday night. It’s not clear how many customers were impacted.
