Website lets pool owners rent out swimming spots, many in the area

It is summertime and and there is nothing better than a dip in the pool to cool off.

With public pools still feeling the heat of finding lifeguards to work, there may be a better option for many community members to beat the heat.

Swimply is a website much like home rental service Airbnb, where pool owners can rent their swimming pools out to strangers. This allows pool owners to make some extra money off that body of water sitting in the yard, while renters enjoy a day poolside.

Several pools around the area are featured spots to rent.

The website features photos of the pools, price points, amenities and location, all of which help prospective swimmers decide where to rent.
