Website names best, worst school districts in Pennsylvania

PITTSBURGH — A website has named the best and worst school districts in Pennsylvania.

Niche.com has named the Radnor Township School District in the eastern part of the state as No. 1 on this year’s list.

The highest ranked local district was North Allegheny in McCandless, which came in third on the list. The worst district in the state was the Reading School District with a ‘D’ grade.

The website said the rankings are “based on rigorous analysis of academic and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with test scores, college data and ratings collected from millions of Niche users.”
