PITTSBURGH — Wendy Bell is off the air again.
The conservative media personality was removed from the lineup of WJAS-AM, which is owned by St. Barnabas Broadcasting. Bell joined the station in January on a part-time basis and was promoted to a fulltime position in March.
Her 9 a.m.-noon slot on Monday was being filled by conservative political commentator Glenn Beck.

Michele Bradac, director of marketing for St. Barnabas Health System, said removing Bell from the air was based on a “personnel matter”
“Until the company and she resolve their personnel matter, there’s no way to say” what might happen next, Bradac said.

In 2016, Bell was fired as an anchor at WTAE-TV after making racially insensitive social media posts following a shooting in Wilkinsburg that left five dead.
In 2019, she was hired as a KDKA Radio host, but was fired from that position in 2020 after saying that park rangers should “shoot on sight” people vandalizing public monuments.
