Pennsylvania has launched a COVID-19 job hiring portal for people looking for work. People seeking employment can visit www.PAcareerlink.pa.gov and select the green “PA COVID-19 Jobs – Hiring Immediately” job portal banner to see active job openings. Selecting the “Apply Now” button for a listed position will redirect individuals to the employer’s website or email where they can apply directly with the employer and speed up the hiring process.

Virtual Job Fair

More than 40 companies from Allegheny, Beaver and Butler counties will be looking to create opportunities for both residents and local business owners.

The event on Thursday, May 21 runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature several job-specific portions like:

• 9-10 a.m. - Healthcare
• 10-11 a.m. - Education, Non-Profit, Childcare, Training
• 11 a.m. to noon - Finance/Banking, Tech/IT, Legal, Marketing & Sales
• Noon to 1 p.m. - Retail/Food, Tourism & Hospitality
• 1-2 p.m. - Manufacturing, Construction
