Wild Things to add security for rap show after concert bombing in England

The Washington Wild Things will triple security at their minor-league ballpark for a rap show after

killed 22 people on Monday.

Dozens of metal detectors will be installed at entrances to the stadium and concert planners will work closely with local law enforcement groups and police for added protection.

''The health and wellbeing of those attending the upcoming concert is our number one priority,” said Stuart Williams, organizer of the event and part-owner of the Wild Things. “We are taking every step possible to provide the highest degree of safety and state-of-the-art security to ensure a fun and exciting night.''
