CARROLL TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A woman is in custody after reportedly robbing a Washington County bank Wednesday.
According to police, Angela McKinley walked into the Giant Eagle on Country Club Road in Monongahela.
The 40-year-old from Donora allegedly handed a teller a note claiming she had a weapon, but didn't show one, and officers didn't find one when they took her into custody, according to police. The note also asked for $40,000.
McKinley was spotted nearby after the robbery and allegedly led police on a short car chase before they boxed her in.
