A woman has been arrested and charged in a deadly stabbing early Sunday morning in a parking lot near a bar in Pittsburgh’s Mt. Washington neighborhood.
Ashley Henchell, 25, is charged with criminal homicide and tampering with physical evidence.
Police said Henchell admitted to stabbing 33-year-old Ryan Carosi after an argument at Satalio’s Bar. Their investigation shows she followed him, asked him to walk with her, then stabbed and hit him.
Henchell told police that “she began stabbing him in his leg and he got off her and she got up and ran,” according to a criminal complaint obtained Monday by Channel 11 News.

While running away, Henchell threw the knife, she told police. She then went to her house “washed her clothes and took a shower,” the complaint said.
A passerby notified a police officer who was working a private security detail shortly before 3:30 a.m. Sunday that Carosi was on the ground and bleeding outside the Cogo’s on Bailey Avenue.
Responding officers found Carosi, and paramedics took him to UPMC Mercy Hospital, where he died.
