CRAFTON, pa. — An 81-year-old woman is dead after being struck by a tractor-trailer in the parking lot of the Crafton Ingram Shopping Center, according to Allegheny County police.
It happened around 11:03 a.m. near the Giant Eagle.
Police said they found out through witnesses that the woman was shopping at Giant Eagle and was walking to her car. She then walked in front of the Advanced Auto Parts store and into the parking lot.

At that time, the tractor-trailer was making a delivery to the Advanced Auto Parts store and was backing into the parking lot, police said.
Police said the woman, who has been identified as Florence Hall, walked behind the truck and that’s when she was hit.
Witness told police they heard the back up warning beep from the truck.
