An Allegheny County woman was killed in a fire at her West Mifflin home Sunday.
Investigators said flames broke out at the home on Kelly Lane around 9:45 p.m. The home was fully engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived at the scene.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the woman as Beverly Very, 71.
Neighbors said Very had lived in the home for more than 10 years.

When crews got there, they found the in flames, and several area fire departments tried to put out the fire and save Very.
Neighbors said their small street will never be the same.
“We are all going to miss her. We are all going to miss her. She's the kind of person who always stopped to talk to you and would never go by without saying hello,” Bernadette Weyandt-Bohm said.
Neighbors told Channel 11, that Very had children and small grandchildren.
