LAWRENCE COUNTY, Pa. — A woman was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after she fell while rock climbing Saturday at McConnells Mill State Park, officials said.
According to the Park Manager, the woman was climbing around 3:30 p.m. when she fell on the Alpha Pass Trail, hurting her head and arm. Officials said she fell from a boulder near the trail.
Park rangers and first responders helped get her off the trail and she was flown out to the hospital for further care.
In May, a man fell into the river at the park and his body has not yet been found.
