Woodland Hills suspends ‘cheerleading activities’ after positive COVID-19 test

ALLEGHENY CO., Pa. — The Woodland Hills School District has suspended all “cheerleading activities” after a positive COVID-19 test.

According to district officials, the test results were discovered through the school’s on-site testing center.

Anyone who may have “interacted with the program” is going to be retested, and the cheerleading practice area was sanitized Tuesday night.

“The Woodland Hills School District is immediately suspending its cheerleading activities because of a positive COVID-19 test result.

The test results were discovered through the District's onsite testing center.

The District is currently doing contact tracing and retesting all students and adults who may have interacted with the program. The practice area is being sanitized this evening.”
