PITTSBURGH — A young man was found shot to death early Monday morning inside the doorway of a home in Pittsburgh’s Brighton Heights neighborhood, police said.
Calls to 911 alerted police to shots fired just after 2 a.m. along Termon Avenue.
When officers got to the home, they found Jaylen Johnson, 20, from Brighton Heights, inside the doorway with a gunshot wound to his chest. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Channel 11 asked police if Johnson lived at the home or had a reason to be there, but that is unclear at this point.
Police are investigating the details surrounding the deadly shooting.
