PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Zoo is offering holiday fun for the family that is also COVID-19 friendly.
The Zoo announced tickets are now on sale for the all-new “Zoo Lights Drive-Thru” -- an event where families can drive through the zoo at night “while guided by a themed audio tour as thousands of environmentally friendly LED lights transform the park into an unforgettable winter wonderland.”

According to the website, tickets are available only in advance. It’s $60 per car or $40 per car if you are a season pass member.

The Zoo listed a few things guests should be aware of before attending:
- Please arrive at the main parking lot on the specified day and time on your ticket. You will not be permitted to enter the Zoo before or after your selected day and time.
- Guests are prohibited from exiting their vehicle at any time.
- All tailgates, doors/van doors and hatchbacks must remain closed at all times.
- Smoking, alcohol and pets are prohibited in the Zoo (with the exception of service animals.)
- Restrooms will NOT be available.
