PITTSBURGH — Trees were knocked down around the region as high winds and heavy rain pushed through Saturday night.

In Darlington, a small community in Beaver County, one viewer said a massive tree smashed right into a bedroom of a family member’s home. Luckily, there were no injuries.

In Heidelberg, people woke up to power outages and trees blown down. On Lincoln Avenue, power lines were down and three utility poles were snapped. A transformer even fell right onto a woman’s car.

Things had quieted down by Sunday afternoon as temperatures fell back into the 40s.
