According to the Herald News, Fall River police are concerned that kids might think the brightly colored pills, which look like "SpongeBob SquarePants" characters and a Ferrari emblem, are candy. But they really contain the drug MDMA, aka molly or ecstasy, authorities said.

In a statement Wednesday, Fall River police Detective John Robinson urged guardians to "be on the lookout for these as school starts and Halloween is fast approaching," the Herald News reported. If you encounter the pills, avoid touching them and call police immediately, Robinson added.

The department also released a photo of the drugs, which officers discovered while investigating a reported robbery earlier this month, Robinson said.
