Veteran cast member Vanessa Bayer is leaving Saturday Night Live after seven seasons.

Bayer was the longest serving female on the show’s current lineup, and was known for her portrayal of Jacob the Bar Mitzvah Boy and impersonations of Miley Cyrus.

"Thank you SNL for 7 years of laughs, love and incredible memories. It has been a dream come true," Bayer wrote Saturday on Instagram. "And thanks for this goodbye sketch at the table, Colin."

Likely in reference to fellow cast member Colin Jost, who penned his own version of the Billy Joel song “She’s Always a Woman,” with references to Bayer’s time on the sketch show.

Bayer has also appeared in the movies "Trainwreck" and "Office Christmas Party." She joins Bobby Moynihan who also leaves after the 42nd season of the show ends this week.
