Gauff, who turned 15 on March 13, defeated Belgium's Greet Minnen 6-1, 6-1, in the final round of qualifying, the BBC reported. At 15 years, 122 days, she will be the first 15-year-old in the main draw since Britain's Laura Robson qualified in 2009, according to the BBC.

Gauff, who is ranked No. 301 in the women's world rankings, will be the 12th youngest overall to play in Wimbledon's main draw, CNN reported. However, the other 11 players did not reach the main draw through qualifying.

"I knew I was the underdog, and I was just enjoying it," Gauff said after her victory at Roehampton. "I had no expectations really.

"I'm still in shock. Playing against the top players in the field is going to be a different feel."

Last month, Gauff became the youngest female player to win a Grand Slam match in the qualifying rounds of French Open.
