Bell, 32, starred with Josh Peck, 32, in the Nickelodeon series, which ran from 2004 to 2007.
The comedy starred the two actors as new stepbrothers -- one a musician, the other a geek -- who were trying to survive as high school students while adapting to each other’s clashing personalities.
The series ran for 57 episodes, with Bell and Peck co-starring with Miranda Cosgrove, their mischievous younger sister.
Thursday night, Bell said a reboot was possible and that he and Peck were in negotiations with several networks about a new show, Entertainment Weekly reported.
"We're working on something," Bell told People. "I'm excited. I think we have a great idea.
“(The reboot) is going to be way more creative, way cooler than just you know the college years or something like that,” Bell said. “We knew that if we were ever going to come back, it’s got to be something cool. I’m excited to see what the fans think.”
The duo had a brief feud when Bell was not invited to Peck's wedding in 2017, but the actors have since reconciled, Entertainment Weekly reported.
"We've known each other for so long, and it really is once in a lifetime in this industry that you get to work with somebody and it clicks like that," Bell told Entertainment Weekly. "He's just got an amazing comedic wit and incredible timing, and he's really smart and we really get along."
