ARLINGTON, Tenn. — A Tennessee teen has been arrested for assaulting and attempting to rape his friend's mother during a sleepover in Arlington, according to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office.
Jordan Corter, 18, was staying over at a friend's house Sunday night when he forced himself into his friend's mother's room and attempted to rape her, WHBQ reports.

Corter allegedly forced the woman into the bed as he put his hand inside her pajama shorts and started to touch her, according to documents obtained by WHBQ.
The woman, who has not been identified, told police she kneed Corter in the groin and grabbed a pistol in her bedroom.
Police said she placed the gun in Corter’s face and told him to leave.
The woman reported the incident to her boss at work, which launched an investigation into the attack, WHBQ reports.
Corter is charged with sexual battery and criminal attempted rape.
