HASLET, Texas — A 17-year-old from Texas paid homage to a friend and fallen soldier with a heartwarming patriotic display.

According to KXAS-TV, Cameron James, of Haslet, used a lawn mower and weed eater to create an American flag design in the front yard of his family's home – just in time for Independence Day.

James told KXAS that he took on the four-hour project as a tribute to his friend, who died while serving in the Army.
