Actor Eddie Hassell has died at the age of 30 after being shot in Texas.
Hassell’s manager confirmed the actor’s death to Variety, noting the shooting occurred Sunday morning during a suspected carjacking.

The incident is still under investigation, Variety reported.
Hassell, best known for his roles in 2010′s “The Kids Are All Right” and NBC’s science fiction series “Surface,” was also an avid surfer and skateboarder as well as a published author, having penned “Someone Should Tell You: Startling Revelations and Truths to Help You Understand and Improve Your Life,” TMZ reported.
Born July 16, 1990, in Corsicana, Texas, Hassell also appeared on Aaron Sorkin’s “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” “Oliver Beene,” “Joan of Arcadia,” “'Til Death,” “Southland,” “Bones,” “Devious Maids” and “Longmire,” Variety reported.
