Apple announced Tuesday it will re-instate a mask mandate at its retail locations in the United States, as well as limit the number of people who can be inside any store at one time.
Apple made the announcement in response to rising COVID-19 cases in the U.S. Apple, which had recently lifted mask mandates for some of its stores, said it was making the change “to support the wellbeing of customers and employees,” Bloomberg reported.
Apple has required all of its staff to wear masks and sanitize public areas since reopening its stores earlier this year, CNBC reported.
