>> Coronavirus: Dolly Parton to read bedtime stories to kids in new weekly video series
Gracie Brewer, of Connersville, may not have the following megastars like country singer Dolly Parton do when it comes to reading books, but she is making an impact and her videos are gaining an audience, WXIN reported.
“She has viewers from California to Kentucky. It’s just amazing. I can’t believe it,” Gracie’s mother, Dulinda McFarland, told the television station.
Gracie’s mother works in health care, so they have been living separately for a month as a safety precaution. Gracie found a way to connect with her mother -- and others -- by choosing one of her favorite books and reading them on Facebook Live, WXIN reported. Gracie uses her mother’s account to read the stories.
