Microsoft is giving its employees three months of paid parental leave amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The additional leave can be used as either a complete 12 weeks or used as a few days a week to help fill the gap as schools and child care facilities remain closed because of COVID-19, CNN reported.
Business Insider first reported the move last week.

The time off allows “employees greater flexibility and time off as they face extended school closures,” a company spokesperson told CNN.
