TROUP COUNTY, Ga. — An elderly woman was mauled to death by three dogs living in her Georgia house.
According to WSB-TV, the Troup County Sheriff’s Office said that three large dogs mauled a woman to death last week in her Troup County, Georgia, home.
Investigators told WSB-TV that the dogs were found to belong to a family member of the woman and were living in the house with her.
It is unclear if the dogs were taken from the house or not following the attack, according to WSB-TV. Deputies have also not released the breed of the dogs.
The name of the woman has not been released. The investigation is ongoing.
