LYNNWOOD, Wash. — Taking drugs off the streets isn’t usually this easy, but Washington state’s Lynnwood Police Department is taking the win.
A Lynnwood homeowner alerted police Tuesday after finding an odd package in his front yard that he described as a “bag of crystals,” and, in a sense, he was absolutely correct, KIRO-TV reported.

The plastic-wrapped package turned out to contain nearly a pound of methamphetamine, Lynnwood police spokesperson Joanna Small told the TV station.
“We appreciate the vigilant homeowner calling in the discovery immediately,” Small said.
Although crime scene technicians thoroughly examined the package, no fingerprints were found on the drugs, which have been entered into evidence, KIRO-TV reported.
