ORLANDO, Fla. — Two people are dead following a shooting at a club inside a Florida strip mall Wednesday morning, deputies said.
Deputies were called to the North Gate Plaza in Orlando around 4:30 a.m. after receiving a call about shots being fired, WFTV reported.
Officials said they found two victims at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds.
The shooting took place at an after-hours club that was having a New Year’s Eve party, according to deputies. Shots were fired in the VIP area, as the club was winding down into the morning.
It is not clear what led to the shooting, WFTV reported.
Suspect information has not been released.
