“This goes for making a crazy day,” the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said Monday in a Facebook post.

A dash camera from a police cruiser captured the moment on Feb. 26 when the car ahead of it hit the brakes as several deer ran in front of the vehicle.

The video shows the animals running in front of the car, with one deer jumping over it. One buck even landed on the back windshield before running away.

Deputies said it appeared as if none of the animals -- or the driver -- were injured, “but I am sure there was some very fast-beating hearts,” according to the Facebook post.

“Another reminder you have to always be in control of your car and not distracted by anything else,” the sheriff’s office said.
