Cameron Ray, 20, died shortly after an altercation near a bar on March 18, the News reported.

In video footage of the fight obtained by KDFW-TV in Dallas, one of those involved in the altercation was wearing a YKDV necklace. Joseph, 24, goes by the rap name “YKDV Bossman Fat,” ESPN reported.

More footage from the video shows shots coming from an SUV as Ray and his friends got into their vehicle after the altercation.

“I need for people to pay attention to what these individuals had on, from head to toe,” Dallas PD Det. Tonya McDaniel said of the video.

“Look at their hair, I need you to look at what they had on, because they had writing on their clothing, on their hoodies. They had jewelry on. I need you to look at some of their medallions and see what it spells out. Look at their faces and look at the group of people that were together themselves, because if you know somebody in that group, then you’re going to know the rest of them.

“I need you to point them out, put them on blast, so that they will come in and talk to me, because somebody died here, and we need to find out who shot Cameron.”

While Cowboys officials have encouraged Joseph to speak with police, a team source who was not authorized to speak publicly told the News they do not believe Joseph is the shooter.

Joseph started his college career at LSU before playing at Kentucky. He was a second-round pick by the Cowboys in the 2021 NFL draft.
