T.J. Watt’s next assignment is to tackle married life.
The Pittsburgh Steelers’ linebacker tied the knot on Saturday with longtime girlfriend, former University of Wisconsin soccer star Dani Rhodes, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported.
Watts, who also starred at Wisconsin, and Rhodes were married at a private resort in front of family and friends Saturday night in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, according to the newspaper.

The couple was seen celebrating with fireworks during the wedding reception, according to Bleacher Report.
Watt, 27, a four-time Pro Bowl selection and the NFL’s defensive player of the year in 2021, is the younger brother of five-time All-Pro linebacker J.J. Watt of the Arizona Cardinals. He met Rhodes while playing for the Badgers football team, the website reported. Rhodes, 24, played professionally for the NWSL’s Chicago Red Caps. Her teammate was Kealia Watt, J.J.’s wife and her new sister-in-law.
The wedding took place about a year after the couple announced their engagement, the Journal-Sentinel reported.
Wedding guests included T.J. Watt’s current and former teammates in college and the NFL, including Alec James and Joe Schobert (Wisconsin) and Steelers teammates Joe Haden, Ryan Shazier and Cam Heyward, according to the newspaper.
