FULTONDALE, Ala. — Almost nothing can stop Waffle House employees from feeding those who are hungry. Not even a tornado.
An EF-2 tornado touched down in Fultondale, Alabama, and knocked out power to the community.
But employees at the town’s Waffle House didn’t let it stop them. They rolled out a propane-fueled flattop grill and started frying up burgers, WBRC reported.
At one point they ran out of buns, but a neighboring Arby’s gave them what they needed.

WBRC reported the crew would keep cooking until they ran out.
No power? No problem. The #WaffleHouse in #Fultondale wasn't going to let a #tornado keep it from firing up the grill for first responders!
