CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, Chick-fil-A restaurants across the country are still primarily promoting to-go orders and drive-up service.

At a restaurant location in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, workers captured an adorable moment on camera when a customer came to pick up an order. Ellie, a Golden Retriever, lived up to her breed’s name when she fetched her owner’s food with a happy gait.

“She loves running to meet the team member delivering her food and carrying it back to her owner, Nick, who waits in their curbside space,” Chick-fil-A at Carraway Village posted on its Facebook page.

“It’s her favorite thing to do,” Ellie’s owner told the restaurant.

The video of Ellie has been liked more than 17,000 times on Facebook, and has garnered more than 15,000 comments. Most people praised Ellie’s skill and joked that their dogs would eat the food immediately.
