In an update posted to the zoo’s website Monday, the Washington, D.C., facility said its newest panda cub, a 9-week-old male, enjoys sleeping on his back.
“It’s very cute to watch and a trait that is unique among all four cubs born here,” the zoo captioned a video of the cub. “When he is awake, he continues to practice crawling around the den.”
As of Wednesday morning, the viral clip had racked up more than 47,000 views on YouTube and another 22,000 on Twitter.
