If you want to take Thanksgiving cooking duties off this year, there are plenty of restaurants that will be happy to help with your holiday meals.
Several restaurant chains across the country will be open on Thanksgiving, offering dine-in meals or meal packages you can take with you to share at home.
Below are a few restaurants that will be open on Thanksgiving with turkey waiting.
(Note: Not every restaurant in a chain may be open or honoring deals, so be sure to check with local restaurants to confirm which deals are available before you go. Prices and times may vary with location. Call your local restaurant to make sure they will be open.)
Applebee’s: Most locations will be open on Thanksgiving. Call ahead to make sure your local Applebee’s is one of them.
Bob Evans: Bob Evans will be open for in-restaurant dining, or you can order a meal to go.
Boston Market: Boston Market will be open for in-restaurant dining or you can pick up a heat-and-serve meal.
Buca di Beppo: You can get a turkey dinner at the Italian restaurant chain.
Burger King: Most locations will be open on Thanksgiving. Call ahead to make sure your local Burger King is one of them.
Chart House: Chart House will have family packs that serve three or four people. Choose from prime rib or turkey and get a seasonal salad, entree accompaniments and dessert.
Cracker Barrel: The restaurant will be offering its Heat N’ Serve Holiday Family Meal To-Go again this year. The meals can serve up to 10 people. Or you can eat in the restaurant on Thanksgiving.
Del Frisco’s Grille: The restaurant will be open on Thanksgiving Day
Denny’s: Denny’s will be open and offering take-home Turkey Packs that are available in advance of Thanksgiving.
Dunkin’: You will be able to grab a coffee and a donut on Thanksgiving.
Einstein Bros. Bagels: Einstein Bros. will be open, but you will need to call your local restaurant ahead of time to double-check their hours.
Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar: The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., or you can order a meal to carry out or have delivered.
Fogo de Chão: The Brazilian steakhouse will be open on Thanksgiving.
Golden Corral: The chain’s buffet will be open on Thanksgiving. Plus, there are complete meals to go for your family’s holiday.
Hardee’s: Hardee’s will be open for Thanksgiving.
IHOP: The restaurant will be open on Thanksgiving, but hours vary by location.
Maggiano’s Little Italy: Maggiano’s will be open during regular hours on Thanksgiving and will offer carryout and catering options.
Marie Callender’s: Marie Callender’s will be open for in-restaurant dining or pickup meals.
Morton’s Steakhouse: The steakhouse will be open on Thanksgiving,
McCormick and Schmick’s: McCormick and Schmick’s will be open on Thanksgiving for in-restaurant dining, and it will offer a takeout Thanksgiving meal that feeds four to six people.
McDonald’s: Most McDonald’s are planning on being open, but you should check your local restaurant for hours.
Popeye’s: Select locations will be open. Check your local restaurant for hours.
Romano’s Macaroni Grill: Romano’s will be open on Thanksgiving.
Ruth’s Chris Steak House: Ruth’s will be open for in-restaurant dining and will offer a takeout package.
Shoney’s: The restaurant is offering its “All You Care to Eat” Thanksgiving feast.
Sonic: Some Sonic locations will be open on Thanksgiving. Check with your local Sonic to see if they are among them.
STK Steakhouse: The steakhouse will be open on Thanksgiving.
Starbucks: Most Starbucks will be open on Thanksgiving. Call to check if the one closest to you is open.
Subway: Some Subway franchises will be open on Thanksgiving, but call to make sure the one nearest to you is open.
TGI Friday’s: TGI Friday’s will be open on Thanksgiving. However, hours may vary by location.
Tony Roma’s: Tony’s will be open on Thanksgiving.
Waffle House: As always, Waffle House will be open.
Wendy’s: Wendy’s will be open on Thanksgiving. Call ahead for hours.
Whataburger: Whataburger will be open on Thanksgiving.
