Vandals smash windows of dozens of cars in Verona

VERONA, Pa. — Neighbors in Verona woke up Monday morning to discover that someone had vandalized their cars.

Dozens of cars on three streets had windows smashed.

Glass could be seen on the ground and some of the vehicles had bags covering the windows when a Channel 11 News crew arrived to see the damage.

"They were telling me that my window was bashed, and there was apparently 24 other cars," Nathan Swager said.

"There was glass all over the interior," Amanda Rees said.

The vandalized cars were found on First Street, Second Street and Center Avenue.

No arrests have been made.
