GREENSBURG, Pa. — Three Westmoreland County Prison inmates are accused of conspiring to assault a fourth inmate in July, according to a criminal complaint obtained by Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLIVE.

The complaint filed Thursday alleges that 19-year-old Christopher Smarr conspired with 27-year-old Delino Franklin and 19-year-old Vinntez Hollaman to assault 29-year-old Jordan Yonkers on July 21, TribLIVE reported.

Yonkers, of Donora, was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after the assault, TribLIVE reported. His injuries included a fractured right eye socket.

Smarr, of McKeesport, is currently awaiting trial for the March 2015 murder and robbery of a New Stanton motel owner. He is charged with criminal homicide, robbery, receiving stolen property and firearms that are not to be carried without a license.

TribLIVE reported that Franklin, of Vandergrift, and Hollaman, of Pittsburgh, are in the jail awaiting trial on drug charges.
