CULVER CITY, Calif.,None — For the first time ever, "Wheel of Fortune" and co-host Vanna White will fulfill the fantasy of one lucky viewer by giving her the chance to be "Vanna For A Day."
America's favorite game show is launching an online contest for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reveal letters on the iconic puzzle board during an episode of the show.
From Jan. 5 through 18, viewers will be invited to upload a 60 second audition video to WheelofFortune.com, explaining why they should be selected as "Vanna For A Day" and showcasing their best Vanna "moves."
From there, the "Wheel of Fortune" producers will screen all submissions, select five finalists and post their videos to allow viewers to watch the videos and vote for their favorite.
Voting will take place January 27 to February 7. The winner will be announced on-air and online on Thursday, Feb. 24.
The "Vanna For a Day" grand prize winner and her guest will be flown to Los Angeles to stay in a suite at a luxury hotel and then be treated to a shopping spree and personalized makeover, before joining Pat Sajak on the Wheel of Fortune stage at Sony Pictures Studios.
The contest will also be made available on Sony Pictures Entertainment's Face of the Fan, a platform that gives fans a chance to get involved with Sony's most popular franchises.
