PITTSBURGH — A 20-year-old woman was arrested and a man is still on the run after police said they held three people at gunpoint, beat a person and then led police on a chase before crashing.

Eboni Clancy, 20, was charged with three counts of burglary, robbery, terroristic threats and simple assault among other charges. Leandre Sims faces similar charges, but police said he has not yet been arrested.

Clancy and Sims held three people at gunpoint inside a home on Wynoka Street on Friday in Mt. Oliver, according to court paperwork. They forced their way into the home, police said, repeatedly talked about shooting one of the people and kicked one of the victims in the head multiple times. Investigators think Clancy and Sims were at the home after believing a friend had ripped them off regarding drugs.

The victims told police the pair had taken off in a black Nissan Frontier SUV. Another police unit spotted a vehicle matching the description and tried to pull the driver over. The driver took off, eventually wrecking on nearby Amanda Avenue.

Here is a map showing the area where police said the incidents occurred:

Sims ran off right after crashing while Clancy was still in the passenger seat, police said.

Investigators found a loaded Sig Sauer pistol in the SUV, but found no record of it being bought or stolen. They also found 10 .357 Winchester rounds in her purse along with cellphones police believe she stole from the victims.
