PITTSBURGH — A Hazelwood mother is facing charges after police say they found her four children home alone.
According to court paperwork obtained by Channel 11 News, officers were called to a house on Tecumseh Street at about 7 p.m. Monday.
The children’s father, Thomas Hall, told 911 dispatchers that their mother, Ericka Frazier, had thrown bleach on him during an argument.
When police arrived, Hall and Frazier were gone.
Court papers said a 5-year-old girl who answered the door told police that “Dad got on a bus and Mom chased after him."
Three other children, ages 3, 1 and 1, were also inside the home.
Police said Frazier arrived home about 20 minutes later. She is facing charges of endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person.
