PITTSBRUGH — Channel 11's Stephen Cropper spent Tuesday morning with the National Weather Service at representatives from the Carnegie Science Center for Education Day at Kennywood.
Students from across the Pittsburgh area gathered at the theme park for various education-related activities, as well as the rides.
Cropper, the NWS and Science Center hosted sessions of active, weather-related science projects.
"They're going throughout the park today, doing research and a scavenger hunt, trying to figure out how science works in the real world," Cropper said.
