Man accused of sexually assaulting teen arrested in Canton Township

CANTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man accused of sexually assaulting a teenager was arrested in Washington County.

The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Department tracked Zackary Kelly, 27, of Bridgeville, to Canton Township after receiving new information this week.

Authorities say a 14-year-old girl told them Kelly had assaulted her while she was parked in a car with him in Carnegie in March 2022.

Kelly was arrested at around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday. Detectives say they found him in an abandoned house.

A warrant was also issued against Kelly from Upshur County in West Virginia, where he was wanted for grand larceny and destruction of property.

He is facing charges of being a fugitive from justice and is being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
