The NFL announced the Pro Bowl teams Monday night, despite the fact that there will be no Pro Bowl game due to COVID-19 concerns.
Five Steelers were chosen for the 2021 AFC Pro Bowl roster. Those players are T.J. Watt, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Cameron Heyward, David DeCastro and Maurkice Pouncey.
The 2021 Pro Bowl was cancelled in October, with the NFL citing the coronavirus pandemic and a desire to complete its full regular season and postseason schedule.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes received 342,353 total fan votes to lead all players in fan balloting.
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson (335,156 votes) ranked second overall, while Titans running back Derrick Henry (315,359), Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (309,710 votes) and Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (309,131 votes) rounded out the top five.
The Steelers led all clubs in total votes received. The Seahawks, Packers, Chiefs and Bills rounded out the top five teams to receive the most fan votes.
Roster selections are determined by the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches. Each group’s vote counts one-third toward determining the all-stars.
Las Vegas, which had been scheduled to host the game on Jan. 31, 2021, will instead host the 2022 game, the NFL said.
This will be the first time since 1949 that the NFL will not host a Pro Bowl or some kind of postseason all-star game, ESPN reported.
