West Virginia men’s basketball head coach Bob Huggins uses homophobic slur in radio interview

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Bob Huggins, the head coach of the West Virginia University men’s basketball team, is facing criticism for using a homophobic slur during a radio interview.

Huggins used the slur twice on a radio show in Cincinnati when talking about fans of the Xavier men’s basketball team.

He issued the following statement on social media:
