FRISCO, TEXAS — When the Dallas Cowboys opened AT&T Stadium in 2009, it stunned football fans with its size and opulence.  Now team owner Jerry Jones has done the same for their practice facility.

Called "The Star," the facility will replace Valley Ranch as the Cowboys' team facility and world headquarters.  The Star will ultimately cover 91 acres and include shopping, dining and hotels.  It has cost a reported 1.5 billion dollars so far and features a 12,000 seat indoor stadium of its own. The team says it is a "no excuses" facility-- players will be given everything possible to help them succeed.

Public high school students in nearby Frisco will also get to play their games at The Star and share some of the Cowboys' training facilities-- a first for an NFL team.
